Saw this recently on above mentioned website. Wonder what happened? Kudos for them to have a backbone.

Why You Ask?

It's a combination of a number of things to be honest. We really want our customers to trust us when it comes to the supplies they buy from us. We aren't planning on selling every product under the sun just to make a quick buck. We want our customers to have success with their aquariums and to avoid as many headaches as possible. We are focusing our catalog on manufactures that work well with us as a partner and see value in that. We want to focus our efforts on manufactures that make higher quality (not necessarily higher priced) well made products with the customer service and warranty support to match. IM's no longer coincides with our brand vision.

WOW Ouch, I have the Lagoon 25 no rear chamber,I have it drilled and I have a sump. I also have their sump. Lots of happy people with IM 25 w/rear chamber. I know that the 50 are really expensive and maybe the EXT is bumping it up as well.

It looks like other retail are dropping them as well.

I don’t know why. I’ve been a huge fan of 2 tanks so far and their gadgets. 30L and 100INT

Whaaaat? IM has some of the best quality tanks I’ve seen. And their customer service got back to me in hours from when I first emailed them about the availability of their tanks. Sounds like somethings not right here...

I agree. I haven’t used all their “gadgets” but I like the tanks quite a bit. They just posted a new 70g huge drop off tank. Along with their new 3’ deep tanks. Why the hate?

"Working with manufactures that work well with us as a partner" So the beef seems to be in the wholesale dept. Or maybe the line is not moving fast enough. Lots of passion for the IM Lagoon 25.
