Interestingly my LFS gave me a 2" piece of theirs in exchange to a bunch of M digi frags I gave them. Mounted it horizontally on the top of that rock and the growth pattern has been beautiful....best advice they ever gave me.
Interesting. It looks so good that way. I’ll be executing that move when I get my slimmer then

He's my favorite and my pet. He competes with the tangs when I hand feed the remainder of the nori clip every day
One of the smallest wrasses is competing with a 6” acanthurus….lol. Honestly not surprised :grinning-squinting-face: I met a guy once who had a Predatory Tank with triggers and lions and eels and you know who was the most aggressive if not the boss of the tank? A 4” Black Cap Basslet! 4”!

Caught the RFA's spawning again tonight. The wrasses always alert me it's happening....even before the water getting cloudy does. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Hey Salty! Hope your well!

Update time. Been really busy lately and haven't taken any pictures of the tank in a while. Set aside the time tonight to do just that and was pleasantly surprised at the changes. You don't notice it as much when you see the tank every day. Sorry for the photo overload. I got carried away.

Looks great Salty! Looking at your tank, I miss my wrasses. I had about 5 of them and they all lived 5 or 6 years and that was it.

That's the only negative to them....you get really attached to them and a few years later they grow old and pass away. I think Flashers live 2-4 years and Fairy wrasses 4-6 years. Main reason I haven't shelled out for a Madagascar Flasher. My Gold Rim tang on the other hand has been with me 6 years and going strong.

@saltyhog what's your lighting schedule?
Could you share an .aip file?
I've got two ai hydra 52 and I don't know what to set it at.
But I love your coloration and the not windex look.
