LNB has had this single white spot on his left fin there for 3 weeks. Did a round of prazi but if I can avoid copper or other meds, I’d prefer that. I don’t believe it’s ich. He eats like a pig since day 1.

Thoughts?

TIA!

It’s hard to tell in the picture but with it being on the edge of a fin it’s possibly lympho. If it is then there is no treatment, but it also normally doesn’t cause the fish any harm.

The dorsal issue seems to have healed up since your last post. I would just watch that spot, if it is in the same location after a few days, and no new spots show up, I would say that this is either minor Lymphocystis, or a broken fin ray - neither will require any treatment.

Thanks, Jay! I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Great memory, yes it’s getting better. It seems to have just fell off and regenerating tissue.

I will keep an eye on it. Odd just having the same spot there.

Looks pretty good - still a bit thin. Be sure to feed it multiple times a day.

Jay
Thanks Jay.

Oh yes, he’s actually gained a little weight already. I’m doing the heavy feeding stage so he’s excited every time I walk by which makes me happy. Better than my majestic who’s constantly hiding when I come by.
