Unfortunately, my diamond watchman goby of over 2 years passed away today. He was an always a workhorse sifting the sand all day everyday. His presence will be missed, but I don’t really want to get another one for now as it loved to move the sand everywhere and it would get on my corals. What are some good alternatives you guys have used for a CUC that can make up for his absence?

Seconding conches. I also love my nassarius snails... I have always had way too many of them, but it's always cool seeing their little antennas sticking out of the sand, and watching an army of them emerge when feeding time comes.
