I've got a leopard wrasse coming next week I want to make sure I won't have any issues with my sand bed. With all of the flow I have in my tank, the sand piles up at the ends and in the back behind the rock work. On the ends of the tank the sand is a good 3 inches but there is a slope before the 3 inches. I have heard that leopards will sometimes dive bomb in to the sand, do I need to worry about it dive bombing in to the slope and hurting itself? Or will they figure it out? The gyres have moved my sand around so much I'm not totally sure how deep it is in the back.

They only need enough to cover their bodies, an inch- inch and a half will suffice. Your sand is fine.
