Some sand fell on my anemone as I was emptying some dishes full of sand. I managed to clear off most of it but some still remains hidden inside the tentacles. What will happen if it tries to eat the sand? Will it just poop it out or will it die? And also, what about the sand that remains on the tentacles? Here’s a photo:

If he does swallow it he will just spit it back up. You could use a turkey baster to gently blow the rest off. I'm sure it won't harm it.

It's a animal, It can clean itself. Like getting sand on a dog, if it bothers it- it will get the sand off

Agree with kristopher , reefering 1 ,and James . Leave it alone . Blow off what you can and let the anemone take care of the rest . In the wild it happens all the time .
