Sand shifting star (Ill?)

Hi Guys! My sand shifting starfish appears to have put out some sort of goo and is not moving. The little guy is isolated in the corner and I have just gotten home so am unsure of what happened and what to do. It is quite worrying!!

Expelled his stomach. Star fish may do this when feeding. It could be acclimating stress. I imagine it should resolve.

I thought so... He started to move around after, so seemed fine after a couple of hours.
