Heres my sand sifting starfish since ive had over 3 months, its been doing so well it was very active but for the past week or 2 its been just chilling in one spot and not as active. i also noticed its been a color change on its bottom from khaki to pink/purplish. all of my corals clams and other invertebrates seem to be doing just fine but his movement does concern me. i can see it is still alive due to its polyps reaching out but seems a bit weak.. anysupport feedback is greatly appreciated!

How old is your tank and how big is it? Those are notorious for being added too soon or to a tank too small and starving to death. They need a very well established tank and enough sand to sift through to be able to forage enough to survive. Some people have indicated that they are able to feed them pieces of shrimp or clam by burying the small chunks in the sand to allow the starfish to get it before snails crabs and fish.
