Sand sifting gobie

I just introduced a gobie into my tank today and im sure its just hiding but i haven't been able to spot it all day. Is it normal for them to hide for long periods of time? I just want to get eyes on it to make sure its doing ok.

Very common for gobies to hide when first introduced. give it time and it should come out

Yes. Over a year and mine still hides
