Sand sifting goby

Would you add sand sifting goby to a mixed reef?

Never again. I have a harbor goby. I also have sand that's on the finer side. He spends all day sifting sand and dropping it from his gills like he's carpet bombing my rock and coral. Tank always has areas that look like it snowed.

Depends, do you have an FTS that includes the sand depth?

ill say no. Sand will go everywhere where the coral at the bottom is. other options are sand sifter snail, conch, and sand sifter starfish.
