I’ve never started with such a coarse grit. I usually start with 1800. I have a couple that would benefit from starting at 600 and working up. Will try that.

It was the first time for me using 600, still came out fine.
Nice job. I would imagine that it got any deeper scratches out pretty well. That’s my big complaint with starting in the 1800…you can’t get anything deeper out without going over it again and again and creating a very uneven surface.
