Sasquatch???

On the same token, there is nothing to say that this creature does exist. Stories is all there is.. people start traveling in the woods (and do some drinking) they're bound to find something :)
I agree that there are a lot of things to be discovered...creatures in the water are a perfect example...there's some big stuff down there that we haven't found yet. That's water though, and that's a harder place to search. If sasquatch was a species, we've have found it.
This creature is supposed to walk on 2 feet like a human...I don't know of any monkey, ape, gorilla, etc that constantly walks on two feet...just sayin...
Maybe these people are seeing aliens...aliens are far more believable :P

HAHA! Morning Skinz, I was hunting duck hunters that morning, ask your bud to come back up and stop wussing out, we believe in tag and release so he has noting to fear (except for cousin Ernie, he a bit "you know") lol
I believe that there is a "bigfoot"..but its just that ape clowns posted earlier....scientist thought this ape was extinct, all of these sightings from history up until now need an explanation,and the only logical thing to say...if your trying to prove it real...is to say, it is that ape,that matches alot of the characteristics of "bigfoot"
Fun fact: Teddy Roosevelt wrote in his journal while he was on a hunting trip..i forgot where...that they heard and saw a large ape like animal
The chubacabra that was fake..they found a dead one,and it is real, it was an animal that was a hybrid of domestic dog,wolf,and some others in the canine family...all of the cross breding created this weird "monster" like animal
Also, the coelacanth fish..was sure to be extinct..scientist said it was an ancient fish for years and years..but turns out they were wrong..again
I think the story was something like..some people were scuba diving/snorkling in the waters of south africa/madagascar and saw what appeared to be a moving rock..and under closer inspection they found out it was a giant fish

I think alot of these animals are real..but what ancient people called "creatures", that turned into legends, are really just animals...like the kraken thats a giant squid
Scientist probably have an answer to the "legends" but once someone tells the truth with real evidence...the fun legend would be gone and no one would really care about them anymore

I know some people here that claim to have seen a bigfoot some are reputable people some not. One of my coworkers is an alchoholic pretty much if he is not at work he is drinking 6'8'" tall and wears a size 15 shoe claims he keeps seeing one near his home and keeps finding footprints from a bigfoot he even convinced one the bigfoot hunter groups to come investigate we told him he got hold of some bad moonshine and started wandering the woods barefooted and saw his own footprints, I don't think he will ever live it down. I'm not saying that they don't exsist but I will believe when I see one for myself and I stay in the woods on my days off during hunting season so if there is one around maybe i can get you guys a picture.

Ok here is the story. Before you read it please know that I am serious when I post this. This really did happen to me and this is all true and is not a joke.
Well at the time I saw this creature I was a little boy and we lived in the mountainous area of North Georgia. I know what you are saying. Oh you were a little boy with a big imagination. Maybe so but even now I still see it as clear as it happened yesterday and I can't figure anything else out otherwise.
At the time we had a few chicken houses and we raised prized roosters and stuff. It was a hobby of my dads. We lived in like a hollowed out area and the chickens were up in the woods above us. One evening I was taking a bath and I heard the chickens going crazy. If you know anything about chickens then you will know that if spooked they make a bunch of racket. At the time I also had my very own rooster that I took care of and loved. When I heard all the noise they were making I jumped out of the bath and ran out the door, up a long trail into the woods where the houses were. There were several different houses. As I walked in between two of the houses a creature that was black/brown and very hairy stepped out from behind the house on the left. Yes, stepped out! It was on two legs and stood and stepped out like a human would walk. This was no bear. It was very very tall but was not "fat" like a bear. Upon seeing it of course I turned and ran. I can still feel the fear and see it today. I remember running as fast as I could down the trail towards home. The trail took a curve to the left as it went down and I remember looking back and seeing this "being" running after me.
I made it home and the door was locked. I beat the door almost down! I was so horrified that my parents knew that I had seen something. My dad took weapons and went up into the woods searching for something but he never saw anything.
Imagination or was it really something? It was something and I remember what it looked like to this day. I am not crazy nor am I a liar. My parents to this day talk about it and about how they would have never known I was gone because I ran out without them knowing. They believe to this day that what I saw was real and wasn't a bear.

Very cool story Rev.Im not doubting you,obviouisly,there is somthing out there,I know some people will call us belivers crazy,but really,why would we be seeing all this stuff if its not true.
There has been sightings of a shorter bigfoot in the SE when i say shorter i mean like 7-8 ft tall..the sightings in the north and west are usually like, they saw a 9-12 ft tall creature

When I was a little boy I was playing on my mom/dad's shrimp boat. They used to place those little arm-raft thingies on me incase I fell in...well, one day I slipped and fell in...the only problem was, those little life rafts kept me afloat upside down. I remember sitting under water and it felt like several minutes. I remember breathing easily and as I looked around under water, I saw huge ships that looked like big sunken pirate ships....after a while, my dad pulled me out and was shocked how calm I was....he said he heard me splashing--I don't remember splashing.
Did it happen? I think it did...but maybe we do have a big imagination as kids :)
