Hey gang,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently decided to take the plunge back into reefing after a 7 year hiatus. I'm excited and thankful to be setting up a tank again. My previous tank was a 120g SPS reef running Zeovit/ULNS. I had good luck with the tank, and had it running for 6 years, before giving away my livestock and equipment, due to a move. This time around, I will probably go with a refugium for nutrient export, rather than a ULNS approach.

When I'm not reefing, I'm either chasing my kids around the house or sitting at 39,000 feet getting yelled at by ATC, playing pilot.

I look forward to learning from R2R, and hopefully contributing in time as well.

Yikes! Talk about a combination! Has she ever worked one of your flights? My fiance is also a pilot, and we actually managed to bid and get a trip together to AMS this summer. It was actually fun, and a bit odd.

That’s cool that you could bid a trip together, I could definitely see that being fun, occasionally... I could see the official interactions feeling odd though.

She is a tower controller at my base airport so I talk to her on the radio almost every day. I’m on the a320, how about you?
