Yeah I’m pleased with flow on that side. It’s the side with the Gonis that I’m trying to get to be a bit more “gentle/wavy” .Really hard to tell on iOS. Torches look happy though!
So Shane saved you from yourself. Always a super hero @SBB CoralsI have android. Just learned to upload to youtube. Saving for iphone. At this paste of buying corals, bye bye iphone.

See if this works
It’s not a tenuis I think it’s a pretty good example of flow for and acro.
Can confirm lol. I just bumped by flow up on my acros after seeing these videos and my Gonis and torches are like what the heck dude. Not to mention I’m always balancing the point at which sand starts blowing around in a 14g.The fun of having a mixed reef! Haha, trying to get the flow chaotic up top, and gentle down low is definitely a challenge in smaller tanks, I think!
Torches can take it, so can gonis. Just angle the flow upward to no be blowing on things. Can you post your Nero schedule? Can confirm lol. Mine looks like this, lots of changes to flow pattern.Torches can take it, so can gonis. Just angle the flow upward to no be blowing on things. Can you post your Nero schedule?
My corals seems to prefer when I angle it toward the water surfaceTorches can take it, so can gonis. Just angle the flow upward to no be blowing on things. Can you post your Nero schedule?
Mine is up high but pointing down off center but towards acros. I used to have a schedule like that but recently just went to the yellow mode on high variance all the time. Here’s where I’m at now. But I just bumped it up. Was at 15-40 percent range. Like I said I’m listening and I’m willing to try things so would love advice. I thought my LPS and softies were hating the flow but now I’m thinking it was the higher par and also maybe bumping mag up from 1300 to 1450 seems to have helped.Mine looks like this, lots of changes to flow pattern.
I’ve got the two middle return nozzles aimed toward the surface and two that aim at the pumps to create a turbulent flow. I think I’m getting closer to I want to be honest. My corals seems to prefer when I angle it toward the water surface
It's difficult in my 6' tank... Probably because I have 3 powerheads aimed at each other...The fun of having a mixed reef! Haha, trying to get the flow chaotic up top, and gentle down low is definitely a challenge in smaller tanks, I think!
I think larger tank are more harder. On my 180 lps/softies, I run a gyre on one end, 1 mp40 with the wide flow limpet on the right back, another mp40 with limpet and Jebao SLW 30 opposite side of gyre. The funny thing is I thought I would be easier in the larger tank, but it’s been a bit more difficult to figure flow and even lighting to an extent in the larger one. And now I’m going to be dealing with a smaller cube nano again.
I thought about one of the smaller nano Red Sea tanks . I’m glad I went IM.Just saw a thread with another red sea front seam failure...yeesh.
