Guys

So I made a post about WTB a cobalt Maxijet 1200 recently

Just this morning I got a PM from “Kenneth87” who referred me to this person’s email referring me to get a cobalt mj1200.

I emailed the guy and he responded with a picture and also his address.

I did a little researching and it looks like the guy used the same methods on other non reef forums as well.

The addres belongs to an old 80 year old lady who also lives with a 31 year old dude.

1st photo was the initial R2R pm from a ghost user named Kenneth87. Can’t find him nor the Pm anymore.

2nd is the email response from an Anthony Williams.

Odd message from kenneth to begin with.

Look for pre-formed messages with your wtb title copy and pasted in blank areas....

In this case, " the last time he talked to anthony he had Cobalt MJ1200 for sale."
Like cobalt is the type of product rather than the brand name.

Also, always always always google image search the image.
In this case, its from another r2r members sale post.

Clear scam. I hope you flagged kenneth

Yes don’t get trapped, I just got trapped in this. Please be careful as I even got a phone number for the guy name Anthony Williams. I plan to report this number to the cops for fraud..
