Why is this coming up on allot of the sales



Please be aware of a popular scam where someone will send you a private message (DM) and tell you that they have a certain item you are looking for. Most of the time they will try to get you to pay in an unprotected format. This is against our rules for this very reason.

DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!

In all marketplace transactions please do your due diligence and make sure when you send someone money that they are not trying to scam you. If you're unsure, do not do it. If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is.

This is a general warning about online sales. There are folks who base there whole existence on ripping folks off.

I would do my research on every user that sells. This can go a long way towards stopping fraud

I have bought quite a bit off the site and till recently I have never seen that msg
Just makes me think they know something about the seller

This is because it is now added automatically to EVERY new for sale thread regardless of who the seller is...... it helps to remind buyers that not everyone on here is honest. But most are.....

Just want to add for aussies. Do not purchase from sydneydiscusworld(dot)com as they are a fake website :) I recently got scammed there. I should look at reviews before purchasing again
