Schnitzel's SPS

Beautiful pictures and corals!!!:)

Sorry about the clownfish, it's heartbreaking whenever I lose a fish. It's so easy to get attached to the ones with personality

Jedi mind trick monti. She's about 4 years old

Fantastic. I like the color pop. But most of all I like the color contrast. The choice of coral placement is excellent! It makes specific corals standout.

Thanks

Do you measure nitrates? whats your phosphate? Beautiful Tank BTW !!
I do, just rarely . Nitrates and phosphates are super low. That's why colors are pastel.

Gonna bump again for the pohls question. I have been thinking about using it. What improvement did you see using it?

Healthier and more colorful acros. Better polyp extension.

But remember, my tank is full of sps and what I consider to be very low nutrients..and I still only dose a little bit.

Beautiful reef!

This is insane !!! You ever sell frags ? If so , want to be in wishlist ..
If it only Pohls extra that you use now , or other additives from kz ?

Regards,
Abhishek

Wow, amazing colors!

We need your water stats asap! :)

How are your nutrients so low doing only 3 month water changes? Are you carbon dosing or running zeo reactor?

My struggle is finding the balance; I either am way too low or get too high. If I could find a way to stay at 0.02 po4 and 10 nitrates i'd be in heaven!

No carbon or zeo. I really don't know. My guess is the corals consume the nitrates faster than I can feed the tank. But who knows. I think it helped starting with all new dry rock. I acid washed them, so there was no chance of leaching nitrates or phosphates.

I now dose potassium nitrate to raise nitrates. Otherwise they stay at zero.

What's the name of the green acro in the thirteenth pic in you last post?
