Is my scoly getting fried by my lights? I lowered it to max 50% capacity now.

I don't know if it's too much light or not enough.

I have an xr30 g2 on a waterbox 15 peninsula

Looks that way. Assure proper salinity, and it’s possible sand is irritating it
Lighting is also important for development of zooxanthelle which gives them their energy,growth and color
