Hey guys first post on r2r I bought a small war paint scoly last week and it’s in a large skeleton of some sort should/can I remove it or just leave it alone thanks

That’s it’s skeleton. It was once that size and has shrunk due to being very not happy for awhile. You can’t remove it. The coral would crumble in your hands.

Just leave it be. Not worth the risk to attempt to remove the disk.
Head on over to the "Meet & Greet" forum and introduce yourself there.
 
I only paid 30 for it so if I can feed it and get it back to its original size that would be a good deal
