its defiantly an sps killer

having this scutus in my tank for two years; its mainly sps dominant; never saw an issue with it until last month;
sps on the same rock that the scutus hiding under start to show necrosis from the base !!! polyps stay there but zooxanthele absent..

yesterday i got the scutus in action; feeding on my acros.. have a hard time getting it out but the job is done..

just want to share this.. happy reefing..
 
Same experience here- was hoping for a great attractive algae worker but Not the case
