Not sure exactly what this is but the LFS called it a sea bunny. I lauphed because it looks like a terd. Well this thing is a cleaning machine!! Has cute ears on both sides of his head "not sure if they are really ears". Constantly cleaning the glass and rock way better than any hermit or snail could possibly do and is large. I would say about 3-4 inches long.

Anyone have the scientific name for this guy?

that would be a sea hare (not sure of the scientific name but probably a Aplysia or Dolabella, I have browsed the Sea Slug forum for the real name and there are a few that look like this one). I loved mine. She was great, they even eat bryopsis. They are prone to be sucked up by powerheads, so you have to cover them.

I was very upset one day when I noticed that my Flower anemone was closed up on something and then saw my sea hare's butt sticking out. I saved her but she passed on a few days later. They are very cool to watch.

Thanks for the info. I will definetly be checking my tank for any intakes that could cause it damage. The thing is awesome to watch work. All it does is eat sleep and poop--- if only my life could be that easy!
