What would be a good cucumber for a 25g?
It's been established since April and has a lot of worms in the sand

IMO I wouldn't put a cucumber in a tank that small. It would run out of food. I have a tigertail in my 55 and I feel that is pushing it.

What about the pygmy yellow cucumbers?

I have one in my 36 gallon tank and I never see it and it always seems like its staying behind the rocks and when i use a flashlight it looks like its smaller, is it ingesting itself?

Don't take my example but just stating. I've had 2 Tigertails in my 29 gallon for the past 3 years. It started as 1 and then a few months after putting it in it decided to split. I heavily feed so that may be what's helping them. Fully stretched out they both are about 10-12".
