I am having a hard time trying to figure out were I should place my Sea Swirl.

The tank is a 180 6x2x2

It is the new sea swirl 1.5 model.

I currently have it running through my 100g Rubbermaid sump and I cant get rid of all the bubbles. I cant get 3000gph through my sump successfully lol. So I am going to return the sump water with a mag 9.5 and use the dart in a loop. I currently have it placed on the side wall centered. Would the back wall be better? Were would the ideal position be. I am racking my brain with this. I do know if I put it on the back pushing 3800gph the substrate in the front will not be happy. I have been thinking going bb with this setup.

If you have any ideas or questions post them up.

Don't have any experience with Sea Swirls but just wanted to say that I love your tank placement! Very well done!

Not sure where you settled but I would have voted for putting a T on the sea swirl and placing it in the center of the back glass. I love sea swirls. Any updated pictures?

I run two sea swirls I run mine on the far back corners on each end of the tank.

I don't think it does a 180 degree rotation I think they are just 90 rotation. I will have to plug my spare in and see.

I ended up putting it into a closed loop. I couldnt get over 3k gph through my sump without bubbles in the tank.
