IA he some alge that I want to control. Can I add a tuxedo urchin to my tank??

My concern is that I have a few zoas and I don’t want the urchin to mess with them.

I have never had Tuxedo Urchin's touch any of my Zoas. I think you will be fine from that aspect.

I have a larger pincussion. He keeps the tank pretty much algae free. A bit of a bulldozer though. Can pull a frag plug off if not secured well. It went around for a week wearing a fully opened bambam zoa top hat. Didn't hurt the em. It moves all over my zoas, they close up and then open after it moves on with no Ill effect. The only thing that does really bother me is that they eat coraline algae as well.

The only problem I’ve had with Tuxedo Urchins, is picking up carefully glued coral for a hat. Also had them pick up Blue Plating Sponge. Had them eat some Coraline Algae. Do not get Rock Boring Urchins, I’ve had them damage the Glass, Overflow, Rocks and Corals.
