Hi!
Anybody try to decrease nitrates using denitrate by Seachem?
Thanks!

yes I got bags of it ….if it actually does what it says, I dunno
Ask me and it’s no different than their “Matrix” stuff …
I use it for simple bio media

This is understandable, but the question is, is it really possible to make a denitrifier out of it?

I tried it for a while and I had way better luck with NoPOX and its variants ….
My sample :
No it did not work
Seachem writes that a small flow of water is needed. What flow do you use?

Low flow, in fact I placed it in bag and thence in a low flow area of the sump….
TBH after 3 - 4 of no noticeable difference I gave up… Also not 100% convinced at what levels nitrates are damaging. anyway
