Seachem phosguard???

How much seachem phosguard should I use in my media reactor? I have a 120 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump!

It would say in the bottle how many grams to a certain amount of gallons of water, you can calculate it with that.

Here are Seachem's instructions;

Use 85 mL (1/3 cup) for every 200 L (50 US gallons) saltwater.

Not necessarily. The instructions, as for all additives, medications, and media, are for actual water volume in the system, not tank size plus sump size. Displacement for rocks, sand, etc., must be taken into consideration.

I see that you live in Georgia, Seachem's headquarters. Do you happen to work for Seachem?

When starting something new (additive; media; etc), I always go with less than the recommended amount to see how everything reacts. If you have coral, you might not want to dramatically reduce phosphate all at once. I run phosguard in my reef in a reactor with carbon. I purposefully use less than is called for because I want some phosphates, just not a lot.

How did u count buoyancy factor? Yes we can count but come on It's not simple but takes time just for dosing and calculate the physic law LOL
