Hi everyone

I was so excited to get a sump set up for my aquarium, only to find out that my tank will be too heavy for my floors if I include the sump. Unfortunately, I had already drilled 3 holes into the tank for overflow and return.....is there a way I can seal those holes effectively and make sure they are leak safe? I can no longer have a sump and will need to revert to HOB options and would much rather not have to buy another tank.

Thanks
Mimi

If adding a sump to your tank means that it's now too heavy for your floor, the tank without the sump is too heavy as well.

What size tank and sump? what type of floor, and more importantly, subfloor/joists?
