I've got a pair of bicinctus in the design spotcinctus. They are in a tank without anemone at the moment, as the bubble tips kept going up the overflow and back wall, towards the flow pumps.
I'm finishing up my tank upgrade. The new tank will be 111"*22"*22", so about 230gallons. It will have a bare bottom. I have glued in a wall at the right back corner of the tank to fill with substrate.
I plan to introduce Heteractis aurora anemones, which are sand dwelling and will hopefully stay in their sand box.
This had me thinking if I should build a similar sand box on the left side to house doreensis lta's and a pair of perideraion pink skunks.
This way each species would have their natural host anemone. Line of sight would be broken up with a pillar I build out of reef rock.
I've seen similar questions, but not about spotcinctus clowns. Looking forward to your opinions and feedback.
