Cycling tank and I wanted to get ideas on how best to seed my dry rock post cycle with positive bacteria (added Dr Tims) and start to get the friendly critters vs nasty hitchhikers. Would it be worthwhile to get Bioballs or Biohome? Maybe Bio-spira? I'm going to add a refugium in my sump so I can build up a stable pod population. Any other advice appreciated.

Any day!
I lack life in my sand that I can "see" but it is loaded with life under the microscope

This is my second tank I am running first is a 25G with live rock and sand. Packed with life but as you know (prob best here!) also comes with issues. Trying to minimize it on the new tank. Will take longer to see but I'm all about patience this time.
