So i sold a light fixture last week to a fellow r2r member, i stated that the light had only 4 out of eight bulbs firing, and answered a dozen or so questions he had via pm... He sent payment, i shipped the light... I even spent 28 more than i had to, a better box to ship in $18, sent ups when could have sent usps, extra $10... So he gets the fixture and sends me that it is broken and it would cost him to fix it... Did you get insurance he ask's, i should have but did not... He said it needs ballasts, i found what he needs on ebay for under $40, and he wants me to refund him enough to fix it??? I am a very fair and honest person, i was raised by the golden rule, i give people great deals because i love to get great deals!!! Should i risk this guy screwing my feedback up??? Or just give him his $$ back??? IMO if you know your purchasing a broken item, you don't complain and ask for your money back... Any thoughts would be great!! Thank's
