The next meeting of the Joliet Area Reef Club (JARC) will be held this Saturday, September 22nd at 5pm in Channahon, IL at Cindy's house. Please email or PM me for the address.
Everyone is welcome! Its free to attend and there will be food, its BYOB.
There will be a monthly supporting member only super raffle item,
It will be a 120w LED fixture from Captain's Corals, valued at $275.
Captains Corals, Thar be Treasure!
120w 18k LED fixture. 55-3w Epistar Led's. Driven at 2w each, 35 blue with a 50/50 mix of royal and blue. 20 white with a mix of 6500k and 12000k. Par at 24" is 365. Good for SPS up to 28" below. Two switches, one for the blue led's and the other for the white's. Separate power cords as well. Black finish, fans for cooling. 2yr warranty on parts. Void if opened. Coverage is 30x24" at 8-10" above tank.
You need to be a supporting member to buy raffle tickets.
A supporting membership only costs $28 a year and you are eligible to buy raffle tickets at each of our monthly meetings.
Buy one raffle ticket for $5 or 5 for $20.
We will also have a regular raffle where anyone can buy tickets and win, with nice prizes including gift certificates, fish food, tshirts, glass scrappers, pumps and more!
The more members that RSVP to be at the meeting, the more prizes will be added to the mix.
