I just got this warning and I keep being asked to upgrade to the latest firmware, but as far as I can tell I already have the latest P4 firmware...(7.36) and can't find anything newer...

excited about the new server though, I love my P4 and GHL! Maybe the new server will let us update without connecting to GCC....

P4 firmware does not matter

minimum WiFi-module: 7141 (October 2022) required

No.
Only firmware 6.50 for ProfiLux 3 and 1.51 for DoserSA and the anything above 7141 for Wifi module are required for the GHL device to use the new myGHL infrastructure.

7.38 for P4 only add support for the new IL version devices

But in any case, it's best to have the latest firmware versions for both the device and the Wifi module.

Regarding the message, FYI, in the event of failure of the new myGHL server (which is not impossible, as there are adjustments to be made as the load increases), myGHL's DNS entries are modified to redirect myGHL devices to the old infrastructure (instead of causing a general outage).
This is why, even if you have the prerequisites, your GHL device may be connected to the old infrastructure instead of the new one, causing the warning message to be displayed.
(To my knowledge, the last time this happened was on Thu, 01 Feb 2024 between 13:16:40 and 14:21:41 GMT)
As I write this, the message is not displayed according to firmware versions, but simply whether or not the device is on the new infrastructure.
You can force reconnection to the new infrastructure by rebooting your Internet router and then your GHL device.

Now - I understand nada. I got the message - ( running WiFi FW 7145) - that should indicate that I was on the old server. Update P4 FW to 7.38 - no message which should indicate that I am on the new server. For me it means that you need 7.38 for the moment - if you want a connection to the new server

By the way - it is faster

Sincerely Lasse

I think it's simply the reboot after the update that made it switch to the new server.

I was initially getting the message for both my P4 and Mini Wi-Fi. I am no longer getting the message for either. I have not updated my firmware (7.36 and 1.16 respectively), Wi-Fi (7202 each) or done any reboots.
