So last time I set my tunze ato I never really managed to get it setup correctly. I think I caused a siphon in my ato hose and constantly had the ato running because of a loop. I was curious if I was able to put my sensors in the return section where they are currently and just run the line up to the top of my overflow box and then have the ato water enter there. I feel when it enters directly into my return section it puts too much water in.

If the end of hose from ato reservoir is above the water level in reservoir, and above water level in sump, you will not create a siphon

Where is your sensor? I wouldn't think changing the location of the top off line should have much of an effect on how much is being added.

There was a loop from the way I connected it and it caused it to always run after the pump stopped.
