I have just purchased a set of WIFI dimmable 165w LED lights and I have installed the app AqDim3, I have connected my phone to the lights via wifi, then ‘setup’ then ‘connection’.
I select on 'Modify the user name' and select a new user name. I get a message saying getting complete but when i reconnect, i still have the old username.
Please can someone help and give me a step by step process on how to change the user name and password? I have followed the video supplied to the letter but the username will still not change.
I can't use the lights until i have changed the username and password.
Thanks in advance

Alan

Hi Alan,

I am not sure how this particular model works, but I can asure you that it is not a genuine Evergrow light- it is likely made by another factory copying their name. I visited the factory in June and this light was not being produced. I assume you have this one: https://www.amazon.com/EVERGROW®-Aquarium-Dimmable-spectrum-controller/dp/B00WJEOBYG

Also, any lights advertised as 165watt are actually 120watts- those LEDs are ran at no more than around 550ma, which means the LEDs consume 2 watts each.

Good luck getting the lights set up, if I carried this particular model I could be of more assistance, however I suspect the app needs to be updated.

Thanks for the response.
Yes that looks like the lights I have. I have checked the app AqDim3 and it is the latest version that I have.
Let's hope someone out there knows what the problem is as I've contacted the company and seller with no response as yet.
Thanks again
Alan.
