As of right now my ph drops .1 per hour.
Im dosing aquavitro Balance 20 mil every hour to maintain 8.1 ph but this is causing my ALK to skyrocket .
I'm doing water check every day , water change every 2 to 3 days.
I have tried using kalkwasser to max capacity and has no effect on my PH. It increases CA and Alk but not PH.
I have a CO2 scrubber but doesn't work probbably because the air line is not big enough.
I have an AIO 60 gal. And in one of the chambers i have a refugium with chato morpha and nothing. I have also tried to place the hose of the skimmer out side but no luck . My tank is located in front of the living room sliding window, I live in florida if i open that window it will get extremely hot.
Im sure the issue is co2 because there are 5 ppl and a dog in the Apt.
I never had this issue when i used to live alone.
The last thing im going to try is buy an air pump with stone and place it out side of the apt. To push air in.

I need help

Update removed aquavitro Balance i tested my water and again alk extrmely high so I'm running the air-pump line from to my small refugium lets see how it works out.

Do @Randy Holmes-Farley test.. take a sample of water in a cup and bubble it outside for a hour with a airstone and check the ph of that! It will tell you if it’s c02 and it sounds like it is.

Never dose balance or other hydroxide product to boost pH unless you need alkalinity.

I read this earlier today on another thread. Thank you yes i did that, That is the reason for my experiment .
first i did a water change to reduce Alk. After placing pump outside , not the skimmer hose outside my PH is holding at 8.0
So , after removing the aquavitro balance i placed the air pump outside and is maintaining PH 8.0.
Keep in mind my PH was dropping .1 per hour. I was dosing 20 ml of aquavitro Balance every HR.
I am also running a c02 scrubber. Way before placing the pump outside that wasnt helping i think because the amount of CO2 is greater than what the skimmer is air intake.

I’d definitely double check your measurements with something else, like a calibrated pH probe.
If co2 is the main issue try a co2 scrubber or even better, a recirculating one.
Thank you yes. im already running a CO2 scrubber but i think the intake is less that than the CO2 produced inside the house.

Update
I stopped using Aqua vitro Balance yesterday my PH went down at 9 pm it was at 7.9 and at 5 am was at 7.7 i just did a test and My ALK is higher than previously so I stopped dosing All for reef and later do another water change to bring down the Alk. Ill do 10 gal today and 10 tomorrow to dilute the alk. And re- test.

So i ended up doing a 10 gal water change every day for 6 days to reduce the high ALK.
I stopped all dosing for about 6 days ive been manual dosing mag and calc.
Aqua vitro calcium raised my alk as well. In the end ive concluded that aquavitro products are not as advertised stay away from them.
In my case i would have to settle with low PH. If i dont find a way to increase PH i would possibly remove my corals. The CO2 generated in my house is too much. My brother gave me a more powerful air pump. I place it outside and it didnt work. Im also using it wi my co2 scrubber it doe
