I had some success in breeding sexy shrimps in the past and posted about it here before but never got around to doing it with consistency.
I had stopped the experiment for quite some time and now I'm giving it another try.
The first batch since I started breeding again, although small in numbers, is showing some progress. Currently, I've managed to get 21 sexy shrimp larvae to settle (I had 24 to settle but 3 ended up dying a few days after they settled). There are still some left from the first batch that I'm waiting to settle.
My goals are to produce them in mass with consistency and to make the process as easy as possible because I'm lazy.
I've given up on it before but this time around, I hope to turn this into a side job in the future.
I had some pom pom crabs spawn while I was experimenting with the sexys so I tried raising them too but that failed badly.

Sorry about the crappy photo, I couldn't get it to focus well.

Nice work on the adventure! I'm cheering for you and for the shrimp!

Following.
What are you feeding them at that stage ?

Found 3 more that settled so it's (supposed to be) 24 in total now. I haven't counted them again to check if they are all still alive.

Following along!!

I’m cheering for these guys!

2 more settled. There should be 33 in total but I haven't counted them to confirm.
It's not easy counting them in the grow-out area.

I joke, but I’ve been there. The counting is hard! Keep up the great work, we’re cheering for you!

Just 1 settled today. Should be 34 now but I doubt there will be 34 in the grow out. Some of them have grown up quite a bit.

Is there any concern with the larger ones predating on the smaller ones? Will you separate them by size?

This is really cool. I hope you keep up with it.

Once they reach a good size, maybe I could buy some from you because I’d hope that would incentivize you to keep up with this awesome project!

I live in South Korea so I doubt I'd be able to send you any but thank you for your support :)

Didn't have any yesterday but had one settle today. There aren't many left to settle from the same batch.
I have another batch (mostly from yesterday's spawn) but it would take a long~~ time to grow even if all goes well.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
