If you feel the need to have them in a breeding box, and not directly in the tank then maybe its not a suitable shrimp to have. At 1/4" they are fit to be placed directly in the tank pending you have a non agressive community that wont target inverts. Do you have an anemone and clownfish? Sometimes they have trouble cohabitating since the sexy shrimp tend to use the nem as a feeding ground and clowns will not like anything in their nem if its hosting them.
Your angelfish is not suitable for a small tank or to be housed with inverts just fyi.I have a rock flower nem that has struggle why i don't know my clown are hosting a frogspawn coral i have a tail spot blenny a gold head goby a mandarin and a goldflake angle am also planning to upgrade to a 120g when my build is gonna be done

That breeding box is a hob external the flow is ensure via an air pump but yes a micro habitat could be coolSure, it's not the worst idea. They are super cute. Ensure adequate flow somehow. They recommended an air pump or you can drill a hole and add a tiny power head (on the outside of the box flowing in). With a little liverock and an anemone it will be a cute micro habitat in your aquarium. I don't know about 5, but 2,3 ok
Oh. I would put it in the aquarium. That breeding box is a hob external the flow is ensure via an air pump but yes a micro habitat could be cool
