Im scared to ask How much? What lfs?Hopefully the kole will chill out after a week. I went to the lfs for cleaner shrimp, only saw 1. Price went up on those

They've been $30+ around me for a while.
Oh wow! I had no idea how much they had gone up… I just looked, they are $35 at mine and they are very tiny.

Well my kole tang is being less of a jerk. We went to wanting to murder to I'll harass the angel.
The tang every once and a while chases the angel. The angel avoids darts through a couple of crevices and leaves the tang wonder what just happened.
Angel ate like a champ the last 2 days.

Calling @Lost in the Sauce I was talking to @fishguy242 and he mentioned to talk to you. Said you dyi a hybrid light fixture. I need to do the same with my noops. They just don't have the saturation I'm accustomed to (It's not a noops issue but a led issue).
I'm in the process currently yes using a t5 housing, ati bulbs and will be setting the reefLed 50's on top. Just threw together the mounting solution today.

I think that still makes it a noops issue... just saying... I havent had that issue with my kessils... any t5 I add on is because I like the rays of 32 sun's on my tank..

My understanding was that led don't give the saturation that t5 give the reason for the t5 added to set up.
I'm going from t5 to led. The look of the tank is very different. I want to add thr t5 so I have that look back.

I'm outfitting the reefer 250 which is narrow front to back. Had to do a bit of rewiring on the t5 to accommodate.
So you're wanting to add t5 back plus have the noop up as well?
Tank is a standard tank, I think.
Something like this with the center 2 bulbs removed would work great. Or a cheap frame could be made and something like the second link could be used.

Correct. My tank is 48x18x24. My 4 bulb t5 fixture is 48x18. Or really close. I have the 4 bulb hydro planet. Since the ballast that controls the center two bulbs is bad I could remove the center bulbs make it functional hybrid fixture.
Sounds like a plan!
I should be painting my light carriage and hopefully hanging it today if I can get some hands to help hold it while I measure and adjust. I've never run t5 on anything. Been 100% led since the git.
I'll take par readings and pictures before and after.

Besides the short stint the 120 was up and running, I've been 100 t5. This is still all very new to me.

T5 fixture all drawn out I was going to cut turns out I need new blades or this would have been done.
