Couple of pics of the frags I had at the club meeting over the weekend.

Rock structures were made with Polymorph.

https://reefbuilders.com/2016/10/10/polymorph-plastic-has-tremendous-applications-for-aquariums/#

This stuff is so easy to use and cheap.

Just melt in sub-boiling water.

and use to fasten rocks together.

Push some sand or rock chips in to areas that will be exposed (I was too late to do this fully)

and you have SOLID bonds.

This will be the sump, just using it so I don't scratch the display while messing with aquascaping.

Never thought of that.

Cool idea

Traded a few frags to LFS for a Neptune AFS and won a Neptune Breakout Box at the local club meeting. Looks like I'm stepping up my Apex game. Still going to wait a few months on the Trident.

Did some fishroom clean up over the w/e. Replaced the frag tank. Switched the sump and control center. Still some work to do, but got 90% of my weekend goals completed.

Tank seems to have lost some color while I was out of town. The Apex feeder was empty and I filled it before I left. I must have bumped the feed door open a bit too wide. Will be doing a water change today and cleaning the sand.

Here’s a quick video from last night

so what happened with the lighting?

ETA: Never mind, saw the 3/30 post.
Turned them on to sell some frags and forgot to turn them off. Once they were off the Apex timer they stayed on for 2 1/2 days. Now I have a feed mode to turn them on for 30 mins.

Lost a lot of color due to user error. I filled the auto feeder before going to Aruba and must have bumped the door open. My neighbor, also a reefer was checking on the tank and noticed it was empty. He filled it up..... it was empty AGAIN when I got home. A months worth of food went into the tank in 8 days. Did two 50g water changes that week. Shocked I didn’t lose a single fish or coral.
