Shark Egg

I thought it will be cool to hatch a shark from an egg. After doing research it seems like everyone hatches banded bamboo sharks. Why do people choose this one? Where can I get eggs from a different shark?

2) they stay small and most hobbyists still don't have the proper tank size and shape even for bamboo sharks (large with no corners)
3) they're sad excuses for a shark
4) they're inexpensive
5) not very aggressive

I am saying this fish is more like a catfish in mannerisms and appearance than what most people reference a shark. Easy meaning they're easy to care for.

I love freshwater pictus catfish, they are shiny and spotted but are very hyper.

I had one, they are hyperactive. It got along with everyone but I had a clown loach, one day the pictus decided he had a problem with the loach and would purposely, repeatedly sting it. The loach went hide in a piece of driftwood and never came out except when I fed.

Bamboo shark eggs are cheap and easily available. Brownbanded is the most common one. If you get lucky you might end up with a grey bamboo. You won't know until it hatches. I found a white spotted bamboo a few months ago and a few weeks ago I got an eppie egg.

Coral catshark eggs are also available fairly often. They stay much smaller then brown banded bamboos.

Chain catshark eggs are also readily available but they are a coldwater species. They are one of th smallest sharks which are commonly available.

Zebra shark eggs also show up pretty often. They get big.

Most of the eggs you see at stores and people post pictures of are Brownbanded bamboos.

Where can I buy those eggs? Everyone has brownbanded bamboo catshark eggs. I want something different.
