You to Rich, and I’ve told you before, my brain just won’t ‘compute’ coral names !

And I’m not sure what you mean about certain beverages ‘ma lord’....... lol

The Red Sea Max S650, is not to be forgotten, now standing along side the ‘big house’. This system is around 4 1/2 years old now.

Over the past 3 months or so, I’ve reduced the Nopox from around 22ml per day to zero. Possibly in established tanks, and certainly this one, the Nopox dose seemed to make no difference to nitrate levels which were always around 18-20 so I tried reducing it, and it made no difference to the levels, and hence the slow weening of it

You may recall I also installed an X Filter about 6 weeks ago which effectively removes waste before it can enter the water and increase nutrient levels. I tested nitrate today and for the first time in about 3 years it had dropped to 8 without me doing anything else, well other than stopping the Nopox dose.

Around 2 weeks ago I built up the rockwork on the right hand side. It was a ’mish mash’ of misshapen corals becoming over run by a red montipora so I decided to just cover it up, and placed a large rock on top of it all!

Ive fragged a few SPS from the big house onto the new rock and will add a few more, but that’s why it might look a little sparse up there.

The reason I was ‘creeping on his ladies’ is because I was sat watching them, and all the Anthias were in a group on that side of the tank, like for an ‘Anthia party’ or something, so I got the camera out quickly and started taking pictures of ‘his ladies’.... honestly your honour..... ! Lol

Your two reefs, growth rates, and shots are second to none, happy that you've kept up the S-650 as well.

Thank you Freddie, I do try! Lol

I’ve tried to make the S650 easy to maintain as well, so I don’t really have much to do these days, other than monitor and do occasional media changes.
