Great thread! You have really done an excellent job with this tank. All of your fish are making my 150 gallon with three fish look pretty lonely...might be the inspiration I need to start adding some more! Especially LOVE the Regal Angels, I've never been brave enough to try one, but yours are amazing. Keep it up!

Shaun,
Hows the 650 going?

Freddie
All good. For some reason I don't get notifications!

Been shopping again!

17 frags last week and about 8 more today!

I think I might be a reef addict!

I added an additional Brightwell Xport NO3 brick a few weeks ago and they seem to all be kicking in as Nitrate was 4ppm when I tested a few days ago.

Shaun,
I'm happy that you've got your nitrates down and your reef is always so beautiful.

I checked on Kevin a couple of weeks ago and he's in good health. :)

No. I think they have ignored me!

And the crud is still there but I can't see it as it's underwater!

Ive put into place the new mainly SPS corals i got a week or so ago, oh and a few more besides which i happened upon at my LFS!

I had been looking at the 'large pink wavy' coral at the top front of the tank for months because it was in the wrong place and I couldn't see anything behind it. I.e. I could then get more corals!! So i started tugging and twisting at it and basically it just peeled off. So its now at the back if the tank were it can grow as much as it wants.

Anyway pictures.....

Hi and thanks 2una!

I wonder why that would happen. Maybe a piece of something go stuck in there and made it crack but what do i know. You can buy replacement impellers for the pumps.

I got a spare Red Sea pump as after months of trying to find an adapter to fit another pump onto the return pipe, i decided just to get a spare Red Sea one which I'm currently running whilst still under warranty. My original is now the back up.

I also had 2, that was the newer one...now i'm back to one with no spare's available here (i could order in tho,the dealership has recently changed & parts aren't off shelf yet) so after doing a vectra/vario/tunze/eheim research weekend i've decided i'm going to see how one of those dcp jebao goes.
If i stay down at the 10000 model i think i can move the pump into the bottom of the front media chamber & that will give me the normal return chamber as a frag section...will see how that plan goes
