Good lord that's an enormous tank! You might be able to keep 1 tang. 2 if they're pretty small. Maybe. :p

I’m having shoals of them you can be sure of that. I love yellow tangs especially, and well, they just belong together in my tank!

I’ll be watching!

Now that the tank has arrived it’s very easy to feel quiet overwhelmed by all the equipment and what to do first.

So I decided to breath life into the system by installing Neptune Apex Fusion, what’s to become the very heart of the system and monitoring. I’m still awaiting the FMM Module and possibly a few other things.

Not everything will be plugged into this, for example the Ecotech Radions and Vortechs will be controlled by it, but not plugged into the energy bar, as there is no need. There always supposed to be ‘on’ so that would be a waste of plug space in the energy bar.

And I’ve decided with this build that I’m going to be super neat and tidy on cable management from the very start, to the point of being obsessed! Lol

If your wondering why the wire coming out of the base unit is not tight and neat, it’s because the base unit tilts up for ease of access so the wire needs a bit more play

The Apex equipment is attached to a sheet of cabinet wood rather than directly to the tank frame and for the moment is just leaning at the back of the cabinet

So here’s a few pictures of today’s work, Neptune Apex is alive and breathing and ready for all the additional equipment to be connected.

Behemoth.

Off to a great start sir. OCD wire placement is worth every painstaking tack. Glad I caught this build early enough to watch it grow from a shell.

Congrats on the smooth move and lets get this thing rollinnnnn!

And then there was light.....

I have to say the Ecotech Radions XR30 G4 Pro’s are absolutely stunning

I fitted them yesterday which was relatively easy, as was the integration with Neptune Apex.

Well I say it was easy. I’d spent weeks reading up on how to connect to Apex and I sat for an hour looking for the relevant programs in the Apex system but couldn’t find anything. Anyway I looked at the main control panel and Apex had connected them automatically, and that was it they worked straight away.

So lights done and I had them on last night including the cloud and lighting effects.

Those lights are definitely impressive. Pricey of course but, if you're gonna go big... go biggest, right?
Well I haven’t held back on anything yet! Lol

Only problem is ‘biggest’ is expensive!

Very nice! Those pictures are beautiful, what type of camera/lens are you using?
Thank you!

The big tank pictures above are just on an iPhone 10 so quick shots

However for the main pictures which your probably referring to I use a Canon EOS 750D with either the standard lens, or the Canon Macro below. I didn’t pay that much though! Lol
