The Ecotech equipment is beautifully packaged and I’ll start having a ‘peak’ at some of it over the next few days and have a play around with the pipe fittings.

EDIT. Yes you did! I’m gonna have to take it apart again to have another go! Lol
EDIT! so Freddie, how does the impeller pull out then, seems like it doesn’t want to move ?

Final EDIT!! The a200 looks different to the a100, no half moon bit - I’ll email Abyzz! Lol

I do not get it. Isn't the purpose of this pump and warranty that you do not have to touch it for 10 years? Or do you have to perform scheduled maintenance?

They are virtually maintenance free yes, but I’ve found from experience it’s better to know how to take something to pieces before it gets dirty. It also avoids you thinking,’I wonder how that comes to pieces’

Abyzz emailed me the instructions so I’ll have a play with it. Or I might just leave it alone...........

I’ve built up the NYOS Quantum 300 today.

It’s a very well made and sturdy piece of kit and certainly the big brother to the NYOS Quantum 160 that I have now.

Every piece just fits together beautifully.

And for anyone with other models, you can clean inside the long tube on the 300, and also the tube doesn’t turn like the smaller models. A screw locks it into place and it’s controlled by closing and opening the valve at the top

Ok I had an email from the tank builders last night, the cabinet doors arrive in the next few days so the tank will be delivered when I get back from a short break in Spain in about 10 days or so.

I’m weeing my pants with excitement!!!
