You see I used to make beer and bottle it, but once I new I liked the ‘product’ I went for kegs and it’s simple to do and the beer is pretty much better than you can buy in most cases. When I did homebrew there was a place in Bristol called "Brewers Droop", they did hops and all kits, nothing out of a can, my best mate at the time also brewed not out of a can, we didn't tell each other what we had on the go so it was always an interesting evening at his or mine, the first time he tried mine he said "fresh, like pedigree", too lazy now to do it but loved it back then.
The process is just ferment the beer in a bucket for around 2 1/2 weeks, transfer it to a keg under CO2. Then just leave it for a few weeks or months until it’s ready to be hooked up to my chiller bar. Ive got 8 corny kegs which just get rotated and refilled as there used, because god forbid I should ever run out! Lol
Ive tried all grain, which is of course good, but to be honest the all in one kits you can buy the days are very good, not like in the old days, as long as you get decent ones.
With my ‘other activities’ I’m completely alcohol dependent, sorry self sufficient!
