Shedding

I’ve heard leather corals shed and my umbrella leather has been bent over for a few days now. I just did a 25% water change so hopefully that’ll help but is it just shedding?

Most likely. They will do this from time to time. Does it look shinny.

It looks “slimy” or covered in a film. I don’t know if you would consider that shiny though

It's going through a shed. It will emerge bigger.

My toadstool is about a foot across and it gets decent flow so when I see it shedding I up the flow and it usually takes a day or two

Agree. I have had them shed in a day and others shed in 3-4.
