Sucky on the shipment issue but news look good so far. Ill have to put an order in when my tank cycles. Ill hit you up if you want to go in on some more haha

I'm down, are you local to 22193?

I really do want to add some more, but I need to be stealthy about it. That way the wife won't yell!!

If you're local I'd buy all day long, most of the previous issues I heard were about shipping delays and not shipping at all and poor shipping practices. Full disclosure the shipment I just received was poorly bagged and to be honest not the best method for shipping in the winter. Now with that said, all corals made it to my place just fine but the bag was leaking. Basically he made his own box and lined it with cut Styrofoam and then double bagged the corals (all 20 nems) in one bag and tied knots in the bag. Placed a heater on top and threw in some newspaper to soak up the fluids that leaked. I hope he will improve his shipping practices in the future, as much money he has invested in his coral stock I think he can spend some $$ investing in shipping materials and equipment. Metal clamps, 4mm bags, O2 tanks, premade styro boxes ect… not 100% required but when I see a seller use these shipping materials I tend to come back and sped more money over and over again. Just my .02

Wow, bro! I randomly came across your thread on google images searching "reefcrest". I had to click and thought, wow...that's a clever photoshop. If they made nano-dropoff's I would buy the **** out of them.....so you just cost me about $900. Thanks bro!!

No...seriously. Thank looks dope! You did a dang good job! And, I hate to admit it but I may steal your rockflower idea too if that's cool?

Lol yeah I said the same thing when I saw this at Adams shop, although when I grabbed mine it was legit the prototype! [emoji23][emoji23]. For a pico this tank is great for inverts showcasing. Go ahead an do it broski, I'd recommend getting 30-40 rock nems though, 20 just isn't enough! I'm placing another order for at least 10 more once the tank settles a bit.

An ever changing and morphing scape of insane color rock nems....in a Reef Crest Series AIO....AWESOME!! They look awesome Josh. I only wish your other hobby was photography so I could drool a little more, but I'm not one to talk much either lol...my photography skills suck.

Now thing really to update other than things are moving along nicely, nems are happy with 1 gallon daily water changes. I'm doing that to keep the excess nutrients at a minimum. Feeding heavy is always a bad habit especially with a pico. I'm still learning which is great because running larger tanks is relatively easy for me now a days. This tank will definitely challenge my husbandry skills

Updated shots of the tank 49 days into the fun. I ended up taking the fish out and the shrimp and put them into my main reef. I'll add them 1 by one to Accommodate for the increased bio load. It's my 1st pico so there's a learning curve. But I adjusted real quick when the water quality dropped and some funky algae started growing I adjusted quickly. Now it's happy as a pea in a pod.

man oh man, I do love a challenge of such a small tank, I know that 9 gallons is on the low end of a nano but difficult none the less. so far my routine involves 1 gallon water changes every 4 days and changing out the filter sponge monthly. I have been feeding the nems once a week and hav been great reponse from them. So the total number of rock flower nems in the tank is 36! man the glow of this tank is insane at night with only blue LED's on. wish I could take a picture to show you guys how amazing it looks! drool! thank you Adam at Artfully Acrylic for hooking me up with this nano tank!

So it's been roughly 6 months of the tank up and running now. It's rock solid stable and the nems are happy. Although I still haven't added any fish just yet. Maybe tomorrow that will change, I'm going to swing by and see Adam at artfully acrylic and pick up my new clear view list for my im40high
