Hi all, I'm going to be shipping my 9" Derasa clam (FEDEX overnight). I've never shipped one this big or any clam for that matter. I'm looking for some tips or advice to get this to the buyer in the best possible health. box size, water volume, any additives, hot pack, cold pack, etc.... It will be staying on the east coast (Connecticut to Florida). Thanks

You'll need a nice thick styro box and enough water to cover the clam. Use oxygen in the bag, but pack it so the clam doesn't bounce around too much. Depending on temperature, you'll need to make sure it doesn't get too cold or hot.
