Hello. I have a 13.5 gallon evo bare bottom. I found a local reefer who is selling neon green toadstools. Very small and colorful. I would like to add one of them to my tank but I am worried about chemical warfare in such a small tank. I do run carbon which I think should help. I also would try to isolate as much as possible but there is only so much room. The other coral I have are a bounce mushroom, one florida ric, yuma ric, a RFA, an duncan and 2 frags of zoas. Would the toadstool pose a threat to these?

It would be fine, if there is any concern for leather toxins you can run some activated carbon.

The only real issue is that they get real big real fast in small tanks. Next year you might need to frag or rehome it.

I agree that the only real concern would be the limited real-estate place. They grow quickly and within a year it could become too big.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
