I'm getting a yellow coris wrasse. My overflow has a 3/8” gap at the top to the lid. Should I seal it up to keep the wrasse out of the overflow?

Sure can't hurt. Better safe than sorry.

I thought I lost a fish once and found it in my overflow about a week later. I made this both for noise suppression and jump deterrent
